This Mozilla Firefox Extension adds new entries to the context menu to open non-linked URLs. They can be opened in a new tab/window or in the current browser.
The configuration (focus-settings etc) can be done through the options dialog.

Installation
Open the xpi-file with Firefox or drag & drop it on the Firefox Add-On-manager (Tools->Add-Ons).
